A top rare greek single from 1968 is “Tora pou fevgeis / Kouklitsa mou” (now that you are leaving / My little girl) from Dimis (and) the Bad Boys.
The a-side is a shake-y garage killer with dazzling guitar and organ solos… the singer isn’t always at his best, but the passion is there!
Actually two singles exist from different companies.
On the second single on “Melody” label, the b-side song (“La bambola” in greek) is replaced by another version of the same song. It’s sung by Doros Georgiadis from Cyprus, and is much groovier from the first.
The “Melody” label singles I know to exist are in multicolor vinyl (made for export, mainly to Cyprus).
I have no information about this group, but a friend of mine found in the greek 60’s music magazine “Monternoi rythmoi” a letter by someone who was asking questions about recording songs, published in J. Mastoraki’s column. It was signed Dimis, the bad boy.
